Raffi Karshafian

Raffi Karshafian of Armenian origin, was born in 1973. He received his B.A.Sc. degree in engineering science from the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1997, and M.Sc. degree in medical biophysics from the University of Toronto in 2001. From 2001 to 2004, he worked as a research physicist and engineer in the ultrasound research group at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, where he was involved in ultrasound contrast agent research and microcirculation perfusion imaging. He is currently working toward his Ph.D. degree in targeted and local drug delivery at the medical biophysics department, University of Toronto.
