Bio
He is graduated in Electrical Engineering (1999) and PhD in Mechanical Engineering (2007) from the School of Engineering of São Carlos of the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. In 2003, he was a visiting scholar in robotics at the University of Limerick (Republic of Ireland / EU) working with the development of hybrid architecture for mobile robot control. He was innovation consultant for automation companies for five years. Since 2012, he is PhD Professor of Department of Biosystems Engineering (ZEB) at USP and has research projects and innovation with an emphasis on Instrumentation and Control, working mainly on the following topics: automation of agricultural machinery and processes, data science applied to biosystems, embedded systems and robotics. He is coordinator of the Robotics and Automation Group for Biosystems Engineering (RAEB) at ZEB-USP.
