个人简介
Radu Plămnescu (Student Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in power engineering in 2018 from the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in synchronized measurements and high-reporting rate PQ equipment to develop new protection and control algorithms for microgrids.
He is currently an Assistant Professor with UPB and a Research Assistant with MicroDERLab Group, UPB. He also spent a leave in 2019 at Colorado State University as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar. His research interests include high reporting rate voltage and current measurements.
Mr. Plămnescu is part of the International Committee of Microgrid Symposium Series as a recognition for the work in the microgrid field.
