Fields of interest: (a) the role socio-demographic factors, tobacco smoking and alcohol drinking, diet and family history of cancers in the aetiology of some neoplasms (i.e., oral-cavity, larynx, oesophagus, breast, ovary, prostate, bladder, and pancreas); (b) the role of Human papillomavirus (HPV) in the aetiology of oral cancer, the role of chronic infection with hepatitis C and B virus (HCV, HBV) in the aetiology of non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and hepatocelluar carcinoma; (c) the role of genetic polymorphisms in some neoplasms; (d) public health programs (i.e., prevention of tobacco smoking, alcohol drinking abuse, and good dietary habits); (e) randomized clinical trials.
