Roberto Pinto

Roberto Pinto received the Graduate degree in management engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Milano, Italy, in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree in design and management of integrated production-logistics systems from the University of Brescia, Brescia, Italy, in 2010. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Bergamo, Bergamo, Italy. He is Member and leads the research activities in the supply chain management area of the Centro di ricerca sulla Logistica e i Servizi (CELS)—Research Group on Industrial Engineering, Logistics, and Service Operations—University of Bergamo. His current research interests include logistics and supply chain management topics, with a specific focus on supply chain risk management, supply chain optimization, and serious gaming. On these topics, he has published three books and more than 60 papers in international journals and conference proceedings.
