Bio
Richard Mirin is the Group Leader of the Quantum Nanophotonics Group. This group works closely with the Faint Photonics Group to combine the best properties of semiconductors and superconductors for photonic quantum information. Notable recent accomplishments from the group include demonstration of integrated semiconductor lasers, surface acoustic wave cavities combined with epitaxial quantum dots, and 98% efficient superconducting single-photon detectors.
