Bio
Rebecca Bishop received a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Idaho in 1996 and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from University of Texas at Dallas in 2001. She is currently a Principal Scientist in the Space Sciences Applications Laboratory at The Aerospace Corporation. During her 19 years at Aerospace, she has focused on understanding the fundamental physics of the Earth’s ionosphere and thermosphere and how those regions and their dynamics and structures affect various applications and technologies.
