Robin Shail

SW England is a superb natural laboratory and resource-rich region that underpins most of my research and teaching. My interests are in all aspects of regional geological evolution, i.e. Variscan / post-Variscan tectonics and its influence on structural geology, sedimentation, magmatism, mineralisation and deep geothermal reservoirs. I'm actively engaged in research and knowledge transfer that contributes to the characterisation and evaluation of regional mineral and geothermal resources.
