Research is focussed on the implementation of tumor-specific markers for fluorescence assisted resection of meningiomas and gliomas, the treatment of anterior transdural thoracic spinal cord herniation (ATSCH), spinal arachnoid cysts, degenerative cervical spine disease and IONM in spinal cord surgery. Another research topic is about the presence and development of cognitive deficits after SAH and brain tumor surgery. Technical research is on the use of 3D printed models in neurosurgery.
