Rebecca is Director of CLOSER - CLOSER, the home of longitudinal research, brings together world-leading longitudinal studies to maximise their use, value and impact and improve understanding of key biomedical and social challenges.



Prior to taking up the position at CLOSER in 2019, Rebecca was Programme Leader at the MRC Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing at UCL, which runs the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). She joined the NSHD team in 1995 after completing a PhD in Medical Statistics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
