Bio
Ronald J. Hall (M'08) received the B.Sc. degree in forestry from the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 1978, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Alberta, Canada, in 1985 and 1994, respectively.
He is a Research Scientist with the Canadian Forest Service of Natural Resources Canada working in remote sensing and geomatics applications to forestry with particular emphasis in inventory, biophysical parameter estimation, and natural disturbance assessment.
Dr. Hall is an Adjunct Professor at the Universities of Alberta and Lethbridge, Associate Fellow of the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute, and Associate Editor for the Canadian Journal of Forest Research and The Forestry Chronicle.
