Bio
Rob Haelterman (robby.haelterman@rma.ac.be) is an associate professor and project manager in the Department of Mathematics at the Belgian Royal Military Academy, Brussels. His research covers anomaly detection in big data and improvement of the computational cost of iterative algorithms, e.g., in hyperspectral processing and modeling. He coordinates the defense projects that address the detection of chemical agents and hazmat using hyperspectral imaging (HSI) and spectropolarimetry and the analysis of combustion plume through HSI.
