个人简介
HAL24K is a data-intelligence company which offers software to enable operational data science solutions for a wide variety of industries. Our goal is to enable data-driven decision making and enhance the world at the same time. We use machine learning and artificial intelligence to create models which will enable proactive decision making. We build our solutions on our data science platform DIMENSION where data scientists can experiment, build solutions and deploy their work to be used live. Since 2020, HAL24K spun out independent new 'startups' to focus and become household names in specific industries. The first 2 were Collaborate Water (formerly HAL24K Water) and HAL24K Infra. For the third, HAL24K Agri it was my opportunity to wear the CEO cap, though I remain very closely connected to the science.
HAL24K Agri is helping to create value for the farmer and improve the environment at the same time. We work to improve Soil Health by helping farmers to monitor their soil organic matter and their soil life. Improving this will create value with long-term Carbon storage, more water retention, resilience, more nutricious crop and higher yields while improving human health and counter climate change.
Former post-doctoral scientific researcher at Stanford University in observational high-energy astrophysics using state of the art space-based observatories like Fermi, INTEGRAL and XMM-Newton. My research focused to understand fundamental physics in extreme environments which can not be recreated on Earth. I studied mainly neutron stars which have extremely high magnetic and gravity fields.
