Rosa Corcoy

I am a Board-certified specialist in Endocrinology and Nutrition with more than 20 years experience in the field. My current appointments are as Consultant in Endocrinology and Director of the Diabetes Unit of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona; Associate Professor in Medicine at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and Principal Investigator at CIBER-BBN My main fields of interest are diabetes & other endocrinological diseases in pregnancy as well as glucose monitoring systems (self-monitoring of blood glucose, continuous glucose measurement sensor) and intensive insulin therapy (insulin analogs, pump therapy) . I am the principal investigator of clinical studies on diabetes and pregnancy and a relevant author of articles in the area in peer-reviewed journals. I am served as a Board member of the Diabetic Pregnancy Study Group of the EASD in the period 2005-2008. I have received the awards Jose Luis Rodriguez Miñón for Senior Clinical Scientists of the Sociedad Española de Diabetes in 2010 and the Jorgen Pedersen Medal of the Diabetic Pregnancy Study Group in 2012.
