I did my Ph. D from SINP Kolkata on plasma physics. The title was "Self-organization in magnetized plasmas", done under the supervision of Prof. M. S. Janaki. I was a post doc at HAO located at Boulder for almost two years and worked with B. C. Low and Piotr Smolarkiewichz. My present interests are coronal physics, physics of high Reynolds number magnetofluids, magnetic reconnection, numerical simulations, magnetic reconnection and topology. I also like teaching.
