Rushil Anirudh received the bachelor’s degree from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), India, and the Ph.D. degree from Arizona State University, in 2016. He works as the Director of The Open Data Initiative with the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s (LLNL) Data Science Institute. Prior to this, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at LLNL, from 2016 to 2018. He is currently a Computer Scientist at LLNL, Center for Applied Scientific Computing (CASC), where he leads research efforts on using machine learning for high impact scientific and engineering applications. His current research interests include problems in robustness, generative modeling, inverse problems, and machine learning for the physical sciences. He is an active member of the program committees for several premier machine learning and computer vision publications.
