Qun Zhang

Qun Zhang received the B.S. degree in engineering mechanics from the Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, in 1993, the M.S. degree in structural engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1999. He has more than 20 years’ experience in multiphysics research, code development, and engineering applications, including a Ph.D. in the field of fluid–structure interaction. He founded his own company in 2009, where he developed the multiphysics simulation software INTESIM.
