Qun Han received the M.S. degree in Optics from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in Physical Electronics from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2006. Since 2006, he has been with the College of Precision Instruments and Opto-electronics Engineering of Tianjin University. He was promted to tenured Associated Professor in 2012. From 2011 to 2012 he was a Visiting Scholar at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Prof. Hai Xiao's Group, Missouri, USA. His current research interests include fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers, and fiber sensors. He is the author or coauthor of more than 100 peer-reviewed journal papers and 7 patents.
