Research Interests:
Fabrication and application of micro-nano devices in sensors and energy storage devices
Sensors and energy storage devices are important aspects for the application of nanotechnology. It still remains a big challenge to control precisely the properties of nanodevices and the integration technology. We conduct extensive device fabrication study for sensor and energy storage device application by using novel nanomaterials. The gas sensors and biosensors exhibit high performance. Novel materials are designed and synthesized with simple methods for the energy storage applications. Graphene is an important research project in our group. We have obtained graphene/metal oxide composite by a microwave irradiation method in the early stage of the graphene research. We also obtained graphene with good thermal stability by this method. The graphene composite was applied for lithium ion batteries and sensors. During the past five years, we have published more than 100 papers with SCI accumulated other cited times more than 3000 and the H index 24.
