Bio
Qifeng Li (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, USA, in 2016. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Central Florida (UCF), Orlando FL, USA, and a Visiting Assistant Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA. Before joining the UCF, he was a Postdoctoral Associate with the MIT from 2016 to 2018. His research interests include nonlinear systems and convex optimization with applications in power and energy systems. His main research interests include modeling, control, and optimization of microgrids and water–energy nexus, integration of renewable generation, and battery energy storage.
