Qiang Ye (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in computing science from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 2007. He received the M. Engr. and B. Engr. degrees in computer science and technology from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, P.R. China. He is a Professor with the Faculty of Computer Science, Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS, Canada. His research focuses on the area of communication networks in general. He is specifically interested in wireless networks, Internet of Things (IoT), network security, and machine learning. He has published a series of papers in top publication venues such as IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking(TON), IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS), and IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (TWC). He is a Member of IEEE and ACM.
