个人简介
Qiang Gao received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Nottingham (UoN), Nottingham, U.K.
After receiving the M.Sc. degree, from 2001 to 2003, he was a Research and Development Engineer with the Delta Power Electronics Centre, Delta Electronics, Shanghai, where he worked on permanent magnet (PM) machine design and control. From 2006 to 2009, he was with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, UoN, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working on an ac PM machine's sensorless control using matrix converters’ pulsewidth-modulation waveforms. Since October 2009, he has been with the SJTU, where he was appointed as an Associated Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering. His current research is mainly on wind energy, and his research interest is on renewable energy, electric machines, and drives as well as power electronics converters.
