Bio
Qi I. Dai (M’14) received the bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2014.
He has been with the Center of Electromagnetics and Optics, The University of Hong Kong, since 2009. He has been with the Center for Computational Electromagnetics and Electromagnetics Laboratory, University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, Champaign, IL, USA, since 2012, where he is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His current research interests include developing electromagnetic numerical methods for modeling microwave devices and Casimir forces, designing compact reverberation chambers, and applications of physics-based compressed sensing.
