Bio
I received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Chemistry, University of Calcutta. My research interests include spectroscopic methods, especially fluorescence spectroscopic tools to explore interactions of bioactive molecules with biomacromolecules, lipids, etc. Fluorescence spectroscopic methods in investigating a variety of molecular-level phenomena/interactions of small molecules are also included in my research interest. Moreover, I am equally interested to work in the field of food chemistry since my doctoral research was to investigate plant-derived phenolic compounds, particularly, developing methods that enhanced the probability of their inclusion as functional food materials.
