Preethi Vijayaraghavareddy

I am an early career researcher with a specialization in Crop Stress Physiology and Genetics. I pursued my MSc degree in Plant Physiology from Tamil Nadu (TNAU) in 2014 and completed a doctoral degree in the same field from the University of Agricultural Sciences, supported by an INSPIRE Fellowship (IF160830) awarded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India. My expertise lies in the utilization of phenomics facilities, abiotic stress physiology, and genome-wide association mapping. I am highly proficient in the R programming language, particularly in the areas of GWAS and statistical analyses. The research area that I focused on for my Ph.D. was the implementation of high-throughput and precise induction of drought stress using phenomics facilities. And also to dissect the subcomponents of acquired drought tolerance traits.
