He has a wide research experience in the fields of Water/Wastewater Analysis, Pollution Control Treatment Methods, Environmental Nanobiotechnology and Alternative Fuels. He has 18 years of teaching and research experience. He holds one Indian Patent on “Shrimp Shell Waste into Biodegradable Grocery Bags”, 700+ International Journal Publications, 100+ book chapters and 100+ National/International Conference Publications. He has 50700 citations with a Google Scholar h-index of 105 along with i10 index of 635. He has been listed in Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher 2022 (Cross-Field), Top 2% Scientist reported by Elsevier and Stanford University, United States based on Scopus database for consecutive 5 years from 2020 to 2024, Ranked #3 in India among Best Scientists (Environmental Sciences) for the years 2023 and 2024 from Research.com, and also received AICTE National Technical Teachers Award (NTTA 2022), Malaviya Memorial (Young Faculty) Award 2019, IEI Young Engineers Award 2017-2018, Hiyoshi Think of Ecology Award 2017, CTS Best Teacher Award and Many Young Scientist Awards. Under his guidance, 17 Ph.D. Scholars have completed their Ph.D. degree, guided 10 Post Doctoral Fellows and 7 Ph.D. scholars are currently pursuing their research in the various fields of environmental and chemical engineering.
