Graduated from La Rochelle University (France) in 2007 with a Research Master in Biochemistry and Biotechnology, I joined the research group of Pr. T. Maugard and Pr. M. Graber (LIENSs Laboratory, La Rochelle, France) and studied EPS from micro- and macroalgae. I developed strategies to extract and purify PS but also characterized their chemical structures. I also investigated their role in adhesion properties of microalgae. I completed my PhD in 2010 and then joined as Assistant Pr. the team of Pr. Ph. Michaud in 2011 (Institut Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand, France). Since 2018, I am Associate Pr. and my current research interests address the structural characterization, biological activities and enzymatic/chemical modifications of polysaccharides from plants, algae and other microorganisms.
