Pierre Bourdon

Pierre Bourdon received the M.S. degree and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France, in 1990 and 1995, respectively. From 1995 to 2004, he was a Researcher at the Department Laser, Optique et Thermo optique, Centre Technique d’Arcueil (CTA), Délégation Générale pour l’Armement (DGA). Since 2004, he has been a Research Scientist at the Département Optique Théorique et Appliquée, Office National d’Etudes et de Recherches Aérospatiales (ONERA), the French Aerospace Lab, Palaiseau. He is currently a special advisor on laser sources. His current research interests include fiber lasers, nonlinear optics, optical parametric oscillators, and solid-state lasers. Dr. Bourdon is a member of the Société Française d’Optique.
