Piergiuseppe Morone

Piergiuseppe Morone is associate professor of Economics at Sapienza – University of Roma (Italy). He obtained a PhD in Science and Technology Policy at SPRU-Sussex University (UK) in 2003 and an MA in Development Economics from the same University in 1999. His research interests range from knowledge and innovation economics to behavioral economics and biobased economy. He is WP leader of the Star AgroEnergy project and Management Committee member of the Cost Action TD1203 on Food waste valorisation. He has published on several international journals such as: Research Policy, Journal of Evolutionary Economic, JASSS, Futures, Journal of International Development. In 2010 he published a book on Knowledge Diffusion and Innovation (Edward Elgar) and in 2013 he edited a book on Knowledge, Innovation and Internationalisation (Routledge).
