Bio
Pichai Muangpratoom received B.Eng., M.Eng., and D.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bangkok, Thailand, in 2006, 2009 and 2018 respectively. Since 2010, he has been a lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan Khon Kaen Campus, Khon Kaen, Thailand, where he is currently an assistant professor of high voltage engineering and the head of the High-Voltage Insulation Technology and Innovation Research Unit (HVRU-RMUTI). His research interests are in high-voltage engineering, including nanocomposite high-voltage insulation materials, the diagnostics of high-voltage insulation systems, and high-voltage test and measuring techniques.
