个人简介
Phillipe Vilaça Gomes obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2014 from the Faculty of Engineering of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2018 from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal. He was a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC-TEC), in Portugal, where he developed studies and reports related to the new tariff structure in Portugal for the main Portuguese distribution company, EDP. In addition, he also developed studies and reports regarding survival analysis and planning of transformers fleet (horizon 2020-2030) for EDP. He carried out studies and reports for the Madeira Energy Company, regarding the optimum share of renewable energies with intermittent characteristics (solar and wind). He was one of the researchers responsible for carrying out the opinions related to the 10-years transmission plan, PDIRT, for the 2020-2029 period.
He works as a reviewer in the main journals in the field of energy systems (IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, Electric Power Systems Research, Renewable Energy, International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems, International Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems, Swarm and Evolutionary Computation Journal, etc.). Phillipe Vilaça was part of the organizing committee of the European Energy Market international conference in 2016. He is the author of more than 20 scientific articles in international conferences and journals. He was Assistant Professor (mainboard) at the electrical engineering department at PUC-Rio. In 2020, he received the distinction of Marie-Skoldoska Currie Fellow by the European Committee.
