Professor Philippa Francis-West has an extensive and very successful track record in Developmental Biology with a focus on craniofacial development.
Current research interests include the role of the Fat4-Dchs1-PCP-Hippo pathway during vertebrate development and how mechanical forces control craniofacial cell differentiation.
Prof Francis-West is also a co-author of a leading Embryology textbook, Larsen’s Human Embryology.
