个人简介
Philip W. Valek is a Staff Scientist in the Space Science Directorate of Southwest Research Institute with over 20 years experience working with space flight instrumentation. During this time he has worked on measuring space plasmas either in situ, or remotely using energetic neutral atoms. Dr. Valek is currently the instrument lead for the Jovian Auroral Distribution Experiment aboard the Juno mission. He has authored over 70 papers primarily on the magnetosphere of Earth and Jupiter. He received his PhD from Auburn University in 2001.
