My professional role within the biomedical science builds on my longstanding experience in cancer, immunology, microscopy and image processing together with my passion for championing the role of science and science innovation. My current role is to take my combined background in both biomedical research and optical knowledge into a more translational direction, from bench to dermatology clinic to prevent, diagnose, treat and alleviate the suffering of patients. My career in medical research combines 10 years’ experience in therapeutic areas including immunology, anticancer drug development, T cell biology. My peer-reviewed research output (drug development, immune molecular biology) has attracted over 400 citations.
