Bio
Petra D’Odorico received the degree in forestry and environmental technologies from the University of Padua, Padua, Italy, in 2004, the M.Sc. degree in geoinformation science from Wageningen University, Wageningen, The Netherlands, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in remote sensing from the Department of Geography, University of Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, in 2012.
Since 2008, she has been working on data and instrument calibration and validation, with a focus on the spectral domain. She is part of the scientific team responsible for the calibration of the Airborne Prism Experiment imaging spectrometer, and she is in charge of the in-flight performance monitoring. She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the University of Zurich within the Metrology for Earth Observation and Climate project of EURAMET/EMRP. Her recent research interests include remote sensing of bio-/geophysical and ecological parameters for vegetation monitoring studies and land product validation.
