Bio
Peter Popov received the PhD degree in computer science from the National Technical University “KPI,” Ukraine, in 1989. He is currently a senior lecturer of computing at the Centre for Software Reliability (CSR), City University, London. Before joining CSR in 1997, he was an associate professor in the Institute of Computer and Communication Systems, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, which was preceded by six years of experience in the industry. He has been involved in various national (UK, Bulgaria, and Ukraine) and European projects dealing with the dependability of computer systems and served on the program committees of several international conferences dealing with computer dependability and software engineering. His main research interests are the methods for assessing software reliability, both via probabilistic modeling and experimentally, more specifically of software systems built using design diversity. He has published numerous papers.
