Career Trajectory
Bio
My research continues to focus on applying physics-based computational techniques to a broad range of fields including super-resolution optical microscopy, X-ray phase imaging, optical coherence tomography, optical elastography and photoacoustic imaging. Recent research highlights include developing the first accurate model of the optical readout of Fabry-Perot ultrasound sensors developed by the Photoacoustic Imaging Group led by Prof Paul Beard. I have also made significant contributions to improving displacement estimation using phase sensitive OCT. This has been employed to achieve more sensitive strain retrieval in optical coherence elastography.
