Per Ljungman is emeritus professor of hematology and former director of and senior physician at the Dept. of Hematology and the Dept. of Cellular Therapy and Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation. He is the member of the Ethical Advisory board of the KI, honorary member of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation and the Swedish Society for Hematology. He is currently the scientific co-chair of the Transplant Associated Virus Forum under the auspices of University of California Berkeley and an advisor to the Adult Immunization Board organized by University of Antwerp and University Degli Studi Firenze.
