个人简介
Prof. Pengfei Liu obtained PH.D. at Solid Mechanics from Zhejiang University on Jun. 2006 and continues the postdoctoral research in Mechanical Engineering in Zhejiang University from Jun. 2006 to Sep. 2008, a visiting scholar at Princeton University for two years and is currently an Associate Professor at Ocean Engineering, Zhejiang University, China. He has published 39 SCI articles as the first/corresponding authors on damage, strength and fracture as well as finite element analysis.
Google Scholar citation is over 1350 and Web of Science citation is over 600.
Research directions: Constitutive theories of composite structures by multiscale and multiphysics modeling, FEA and non-destructive test.
Research interests: multiscale progressive failure analysis of composite structures; viscoelasticity-viscoplasticity-nonlocal damage coupling constitutive modeling; hygrothermal damage modeling of composites; cohesive modeling for interface failure; implicit and explicit finite element analysis; extended finite element method; fluid/solid coupling analysis; genetic algorithm for optimization; nondestructive test by acoustic emission.
