Wei Peng received the PhD degree in communication from the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Southern California, in 2006. She is an associate professor with the Department of Telecommunications, Information Studies, and Media, Michigan State University. She is affiliated with the Games for Entertainment and Learning (GEL) lab and the Health and Risk Communication Center. Her research focuses on the psychological and social mechanisms of behavior change and their application in the design of interactive media for health and wellness promotion.
