个人简介
Pedro Miranda was born in Oviedo, Spain, in 1975. He obtained the degree in Mathematics in the field of Statistics at the University of Oviedo in 1997. He recieved his Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the same university in 2002; his Ph.D. advisors were Professors Michel Grabisch from the University Paris 1-Panthéon-Sorbone, and Pedro Gil from the University of Oviedo. He worked at the Department of Statistics and Operational Research and D.M. of the University of Oviedo from 1999 to 2004. In 2004 he joined the Department of Statistics and Operational Research of the Complutense University of Madrid, where he works at present as Assistant Professor. His current research interests are focused on divergence measures applied in Statistics. He applied it to Latent Class Models and nowadyas he is interested in the applications of these measures in Robust Techniques applied to Machine Learning. He also works on the applications of fuzzy measures in Multicriteria Decision Making and Game Theory, specially the computational problems derived of their application, as well as the mathematical problems related to the structure of the polytope of fuzzy measures.
