Career Trajectory
Bio
Pavol Mozola received the M.Sc. degree in hydraulic and pneumatic machines and equipment from Slovak Technical University, Bratislava, Slovakia, in 1997, with the diploma thesis “The refrigeration device for extremely low temperature.”
Since 1997, he has been with the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava. He was involved in the development of nonmetallic cryostat for high-temperature superconductor transformer (North Atlantic Treaty Organization Science for Peace Project) and in measurements of ac loss of superconducting coils by calorimetric method. He has also participated in the development of technology of joining $\hbox{Nb}_{3}\hbox{Sn}$ wires to enhance the yield in cable production (European Fusion Development Agreement, ITER). His skills in exploitation of commercial software packages made him helpful in different scientific and other projects within his duty with the Institute of Electrical Engineering. His professional interest was related to cryocooling devices. His research interests include the design of cryostats, current leads, assistance in the development of nuclear magnetic resonance magnetometer, and experience with implementation of General Motors refrigerator.
