Paul’s scientific contributions span from ion channel neurobiology, the biology of schizophrenia, pluripotent stem cell based disease modelling through to neurodegenerative diseases. He has lead drug and cell therapy programmes from basic research through to clinical trials, and has co-authored over 200 scientific publications.
He served on a range of advisoryboards/committees including the MRC Neuroscience and Mental Health Board, the BiologicalSciences committee for assessment of UK University & Research Institutions(RAE 2008) and the Neuroscience, Psychiatry and Psychology committee forassessment of UK University & Research Institutions (REF 2014).
