个人简介
Patrick Steglich (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering from the Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy, with a focus on integrated photonics for communication and sensing, in 2017. He is currently pursuing the master’s degree in photonics with Technische Hochschule Wildau, Wildau, Germany.
He is currently a Research Associate with the IHP—Leibniz-Institut für innovative Mikroelektronik, Frankfurt, Germany, and also a Lecturer for photonics and optical technologies with the Technische Hochschule Wildau. His current research is focused on the hybrid integration of novel materials into a photonic integrated circuit technology for applications in telecommunication and biosensing. In particular, silicon-organic hybrid modulators and photonic biosensors for point-of-care and environmental monitoring are key applications of his research.
