Bio
Patrick Hayes received the M.Sc. degree in materials science and engineering from Kiel University, Germany. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Inorganic Functional Materials Group as part of the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC 1261). His main research interests are thin film composite multiferroics. As such piezoelectric and magnetostrictive thin film materials, and their application in magnetoelectric mechanical resonators. His focus is the converse magnetoelectric effect.
