Bio
Patricia Sheilla Costa is a Metallurgist Engineer graduated from the Minas Gerais State University - UEMG - João Monlevade in Engineering College on July 2013. She is a Metallurgical Technical at the Dr. Joseph Hein Technology Center / CENTEC - Doctum Network and Technical in Chemistry by the Israel Pinheiro Municipal School. She was a trainee in the ArcelorMittal Monlevade Steelworks from March to December 2008, where she worked in the Process Control area and participated in a project on the performance of graphite electrodes in the Steelmaking. Received Medal of Honor to Merit as Best Student of the Technical Course in Metallurgy at CENTEC in 2008. She had her master degree at the COMIMSA - México on December 2015 and PhD. degree at CINVESTAV - Unidad Saltillo – México in January 2020. She has been co-advisor of 2 engineering theses and has participated in several national and international conferences. She currently works in two lines of research, one focused on heat treatment of steels for the automotive industry and the other on welding metallurgy.
