个人简介
Smitarani Pati has completed her Ph.D. and holds M.Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, in Instrumentation and Control Engineering and a B.Tech from the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, in Electrical Engineering. Her research interests include Energy modeling and simulations of Industrial processes, Optimization approaches, Controller design and simulation, and Renewable integration. She has published several papers in international peer-reviewed SCI journals, conferences, and book chapters, and her significant addition to peer-reviewed journals, such as the Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy, Neural Computing, and Application, to name a few.
Her current research thrust areas are as follows:
Thrust area–I: Interconnection of various renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, geothermal, and bioenergy, with the energy-intensive sectors and their Energy and Exergy analysis.
Thrust area–II: Implementing different advanced and optimal control schemes to check the robustness of the operating parameters of a system model.
Thrust area–III: Development of new metaheuristic algorithms and implementation of multi-objective optimization approach to solve the above real-time optimization problems.
