His research activities is mainly focused in the field of microwave and millimetre-wave electronic, and in particular on:
- Characterization and modelling of both active and passive device for high frequency applications. The aim of this activity is model devices by means of electrical equivalent circuits, accounting for physical device properties, both at small signal (bias dependent model) and large signal (non linear and/or neural model) operating conditions.
- Development of design methodologies for non linear circuit, based on harmonic balance techniques. Important contribute have been produced about analysis and synthesis of non linear power amplifiers, frequency multipliers and mixers.
- Design criteria for high frequency non linear circuits, as for instance high efficient and high linear power amplifiers, frequency multipliers and active or passive mixers
