Bio
Paul R. Young (M'00) was born in London, U.K., in 1972. He received the B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Kent, Canterbury, U.K., in 1994 and 1998, respectively.
From 1997 to 1999, he was a Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, Middlesex, U.K., where he was involved in the research and development of RF and microwave impedance standards. From 1999 to 2000, he was with the University of Surrey, U.K., as a Research Fellow. During his time at the University of Surrey, he worked on the modeling and measurement of MMICs and the use of MEMS for microwave components. He is currently a Lecturer in electronic engineering at the University of Kent. His research interests include on-wafer measurements, electromagnetic modeling of MMICs, and the use of MEMs for microwave devices.
