Bio
Dr Peer-Olaf Siebers is an Assistant Professor in the Intelligent Modelling and Analysis (IMA) Research Group, School of Computer Science, University of Nottingham. His main research interest is the application of object oriented computer simulation to study human-centric and human-natural complex adaptive systems. He is a strong advocate of object oriented Agent-Based Modelling (ooABM). This is a highly interdisciplinary research topic, involving disciplines like Social Science, Economics, Psychology, Operations Research, Geography, and Computer Science. His current research focuses on Urban Sustainability and he is a co-investigator in several related projects and a member of the university's "Sustainable and Resilient Cities" Research Priority Area management team.
